Saadani National Park
Just 1h30 driving to explore the african bush ! We can arrange a day trip to Saadani where the beach meets the bush. A surprisingly wide range of grazers and primates is seen on game drives and walks, among them giraffe, buffalo, warthog, common waterbuck, reedbuck, hartebeest, ...Herds of up to 30 elephants are encountered with increasing frequency, and several lion prides are resident, together with leopard, spotted hyena and black-backed jackal.
Pangani Historical Tour
A walking tour through the town allows one to see some of old buildings that are over 200 years old, as well as visits to a former slave labor camps and slave market site where arabs traded slaves to India and Arabia, the Freedom Grounds, Islamic and German graves, ancient mosques and traditional houses. You will also see the streets carpet makers, woodcarvers, basket weavers, painters and other artisans sell a wide variety of hand made cultural items
Pique-Nique on Sandbank
We can organise a full day snorkeling or pique-nique on a sandbar to discover offshore coral reefs. Some of the reefs have been recently placed under protection so it is possible to see many species of colorful fish and live corals. Snorkeling equipment is available. The sandbars offer beautiful views of the coast and are often surrounded by reefs which are great for snorkeling.

Amani Nature reserve is located in the Usambara Mountains approximately 50 kilometers northwest of Pangani. A visit to Amani offers an opportunity to hike through beautiful montain forests viewing forest animals, flowers and plants.
Maziwe Marine Park
Maziwe Island is a sand island located 10km offshore from Pangani, among the best diving destination along the Eastern African Coast with a wide variety of underwater marine life. . Maziwe Island and the surrounding coral reef is a nature reserve, snorkeling and diving trips can be arranged to the island.
